Practical help and support groups

The Bracken Trust supports people who are affected by cancer, their families and the bereaved. Provides nurse support, Pre-cancer diagnosis Nurse support, information, advice, counselling, complementary therapies, mindfulness, relaxation and group activities.

Service supports: Carers, Patients, Relatives, Young adults (18+) affected by cancer, Young adults (18+) with cancer, Parents of Children or Young Adults with cancer, Men, Women, Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, Religious group

We offer:

  • Bereavement support
  • Cancer information materials
  • Cancer information materials in other languages
  • Complementary therapies
  • Home visiting
  • Information
  • Internet use available
  • Professional counselling
  • Provision for deaf/hard of hearing
  • Support from Health Professionals

Catchment area:

Mid Powys and surrounding areas (Mid Wales). There are also Hubs in Knighton, Llanwrtyd Wells and Llanidloes.

    9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
